Sola Scriptura, the Bible Alone

I thought this was pretty well done. It's a video covering the topic of Sola Scriptura, the protestant notion of Scripture Alone. Basically this is one of the pillars holding up the protestant version of Christianity. But is it true?

If you can't see it, go here.

Thoughts?

God bless,

Proving that the Catholic Church is the most biblical church is an easy argument to make. The independent "churches" based on the bible alone tend to argue on a different front after quickly losing that battle.

The trend today is to claim that the Catholic Church of Christ's time is not the Catholic Church of today. Another common argument is that when the apostle Paul is speaking to the churches he is speaking to many independent churches, not one universal church with Peter at it's head.

Usually a quick history lesson can debunk the argument about the Catholic Church not being the Catholic Church of today, and then of course the argument about the churches being independent.

Once defeated on these fronts, these independent "church" goers claim that their pastor has gone back to the oldest jewish manuscripts which are free from the changes of the "corrupt" Catholic Church of today. This argument is pretty easy to defeat too, but it requires much study which most people simply do not do. It's so much easier to just believe it's true, rather than admit to yourself that you might be wrong, and that the narrow gate is the Catholic Church.
