At a celebration honoring Pope John Paul II in Poland, an image has emerged that has some saying "Miracle." Did the late Pope drop in on the party through fire? Here's the image (along with the image it is being compared to):

What do you think? Whether you believe or not, I think there is a point here. And the point is that Catholics believe in the miraculous much more than other Christian groups. We see a miracle every Sunday in Mass when bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, so we're more likely to accept the potential of Pope John Paul II (or God) giving the celebrants this image of the late Pope. It the articles and interviews I've seen, it strengthened their faith, so even if you don't believe, it is a miracle of sorts.
May it strengthen the faith of each of us.
God bless,
Jay

How did they get the picture of the flame? Wasn't the flame moving around a lot? Just wondering. It's pretty cool.
the bible talks of a "beast" who will rule the world during the 42 month period of the great tribulation before the second coming of Jesus Christ.the beast will have received a fatal blow during his earthly life, and apparently will resurrect from the dead once dead.the bible idicates the beast will come from Rome(the city of seven hills).once he comes from the abyss,HE WILL BE TOTALLY BE INFILLED BY THE DEVIL and will declare himself to be God and the world will follow him.those who follow him or receive his mark on their foreheads or right hand will spend eternity in the lake of fire(Revelations Ch11:7,Ch13,Ch17,Ch 14.Pope John Paul 11 appears a very strong candidate for the post of the Anti-Christ,The Beast,666,even more so with the bonfire apparition.PLEASE WATCH OUT AND FOLLOW THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TOTALLY,HE IS COMING !!!!

Welcome to the blog. Always good to meet new contributors. What is your faith belief? Lutheran... non denom?

Mwangi
Notice here that you are not attacked for your beliefs and opinions. This is one of Pope John Paul II's examples - to address the world with love and reason - to think logically and to respond with love - and in faith, to hope that by responding with love - we have joined him in the path to following Christ Jesus. Peace!
People do miss JPII. May our recollection of him continue to enkindle our faith in Jesus Christ.
dear when we were one
I am non-denominational,like Jesus himself and the early church.I am God-ordained to be and am one of the 2 witnesses of Revelation 11:3-13
Mwangi,
So where is the other "witness" or prophet sent by God? Aren't you two a matched pair? By the way, how do you KNOW that you are God ordained?
In Truth,
Matthew
Mwangi,
Most of us who post on this site are sincerely concerned with seeking and/or sharing the truth...
You saying that you are one of the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation is to me a very disrespectful joke if not blasphemy to most who call themselves Christian...
I suspect when we do see and hear these witnesses the last thing they will talk about is themselves...
i love pope john paul very much
Hi there, I'm Luthran and I like hat picture and it really does seem to outline Pope John Paul II, so, I believe!!
But sorry I don't believe in your current pope, In my opinion he has raised his voice against The Holy Mother of God by side-swiping the truth about fatima, saying to the faithful "Fatima is a thing of the past" and going in the opposite direction of what Pope John Paul II was teaching the faithful concerning Fatima.
Hi there again, God Bless
From my last post it may look like I try to cause trouble which is not my intention. Im Lutheran because I was born in that faith, but my heart and soul truly believe the Catholic faith is the true'st of all denominations. Tried to become a catholic but failed catholicism because I'm not to bright.
Normaly I would not have said anything like I did about the current pope. The only reason I did was because this seems to be a very little group and I've never spoke to anyone about this except my mom and one other catholic friend, who is now mad at me for saying such a thing.
Im a big believer in prophecy and I believe every word spoken by Blessed Mother Mary, which on most part she has not been listened to. The majoriy of catholic faithful and people alike from other denominations, many whom never even heared of the fatima prophecy and if they did, don't really care anyway because of the great lack of spirituality that has been lost in christianity.
The great apostacy that is ever so continuing today getting deeper and deeper, yet the current pope says Fatima is a thing of the past, really?
He has side-swiped the very words of the Blessed Virgin, her words to the very few who grasp them, he has also side-swiped Pope John Paul II (who I really love)his works and teachings about how the faithful should prepare for these times ahead. Side=swiping Fr Gobbi and his works and all the priests Fr Gobbi has gathered together and what they stand for ... the many messages about fatima and the signs of the times given to them by the Blessed Virgin and also approved and signed by Pope John Paul II because JPII wants the faithful to believe them.
He has side-swiped people such as Joseph Telrelya (sorry for the bad spelling) who has also recieved many messages from the Blessed Virgin concerning Fatima and the signs of the times ... a man who was serverly crushed under long hard suffering for his faith and only his faith in a russian prison for 22/23 yrs. Stabbed, beaten, hands and fingers broken one at a time, thrown into a frozen ice cube and left there to die ... thats just scraping the surface of what that poor man went through for his faith. John Paul II met with him 35 or 36 times once he was set free and even brought him to the white house to speak to the people about the messages of the Blessed Virgin.
These people and others the current pope has side-swiped, all their works in trying to get people to listen to Blessed Holy Mother is was useless because fatima now "is a thing of the past"
Not only does this block and shut down Mother Mary's words but it also promotes the co-horts who have been against the Virin Mary from day one ... Now when any faithful mentions fatima on a forum etc etc it does'nt take more then a sec before the co-horts slap down "The Church Say's "Fatima Is A Thing Of The Past ((forget it!))
Fatima is not a thing of the past, it is now, it is happening and the prophecy about the one walking over the dead through a city of ruins only to die a very crule death, will take place! and take a wild guess who that person will be.
St Faustina 1936
As I was praying for Poland, I heard the words: I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming.
Blessed are those who hear Jesus, blessed are those who hear Blessed Mary and blessed are those who listen to the people God sends, like Blessed Pope John Paul II. Prepare prepare prepare.
Amen and Amen
