Comment Spammers . . .

We've obviously having issues today. Basically some very sick comment spammers are attacking the site ferociously (which means "even more than normal"). Basically, they are trying, but not suceeding, in posting thousands and thousands of obscene comments about their websites. So, I'm trying to figure out (a) how to stop them temporarily right now and (b) if there's a good blacklist system for the new Movable Type (I used to have a good one, but I don't think it works on the new MT).

Anyway, that's what is going on. Hopefully, we'll be back to normal in no time.

God bless,
Jay

PS - I also request prayers for the comment spammers - they're pretty deep into some sick stuff.

mt-blacklist 2.x was built from the group up for MT 3.x. If you don't have it, you need to get it right now.

Chris,
Thanks a ton! I didn't realize a new version was out. I've now installed it and we should be good to go - thanks to everyone for their patience.

God bless,
Jay
