Interviewing a Carmelite and an Elf

The blogger interview has taken a life of it’s own and it’s been great for me, personally. I hadn’t read Flos Carmeli or Quenta Narwenion before, but both are wonderful blogs. Just as a refresher, the deal is that these blogs must agree to interview other blogs that request it, thus passing on the blogger interview and introducing blog readers to new sites.

Well, since they’ve stepped up to the plate, I’ll pitch:

Click the link below for the interview questions.

Flos Carmeli Questions
1) As you eloquently stated in Gross Incivility, “every story is told from a point of view”; What is your personal ‘point of view’?

2) You blog seems to focus a great deal on spirituality. Who has had the greatest impact on your personality spiritual journey (besides the Trinity)?

3) Can you explain more fully the lay Carmelite order for those of us with lesser knowledge (I’m a convert also, so I have some claim to ‘ignorance’)?

4) How does a Palentologist with an interest in fractals and chaos know so much about poetry and Catholic literature?

5) Who would you like to see as the next Pope (I couldn’t resist)?

By the way, I added Flos Carmeli to our link list – if you haven’t seen it be sure to stop by. Click here to read Steven's answers.

Quenta Narwenion Questions
1) Personally, I’m a huge fan of Tolkien (as are several other contributors to this blog), so naturally my first question comes from this position. When did you first read a Tolkien book, or basically, how were you introduced to Tolkien? As a side note, this post, Everything I need to know I learned from Tolkien, is great!

2) I had to ask this question: Your blog classifies you as a “Rat Fan.” Can you explain?

3) I read your post 100 things about me and enjoyed it. But it didn’t discuss what motivates an introvert to blog (besides a writing background). Would you like to let us in on how blogging fits into your view of life?

4) Can you explain what a Secular Oratorian is? I couldn’t find it in your blog (FYI- MovableType features a Search function).

5) Who would you like to see as the next Pope (what were you expecting)?

I love the intermixing with Tolkien and Middle Earth, by the way and I've also added Quenta Narwenion to our links list.
Click here to read Narwen's answers to this post. By the way, I corrected the name ~ sorry!

Well, I’m looking forward to these answers! I’ll post links back to the blogs once they are up.
