Homosexual reality
The Vatican is injecting some reality into the homosexual debate that’s raging through our nation.
I’m glad to see someone step forward and state the facts. Of course the liberal media thought homosexual marriage was all but a done deal, so the Atlanta Journal naturally acts like the Church is doing something irregular.
Listen, the act of homosexuality is a sin. The Church recognizes this and states it clearly, even if no other Christian church has the moral backbone to do so. By the way – if a Church agrees that contraception is not immoral, they no longer have the legitimate philosophical grounds open to claim homosexuality is immoral. Both are immoral for the same reasons and only natural theology can clearly delineate the truth in these debates.

People given the condition of homosexuality are ones who we should have compassion for. They are called to chasity their entire lives wether they like it or not. Homosexual people (in most cases) do not choose to be homosexual. I'm sure at times they wish that they were attracted to the opposite sex so they can continue with their sexual lives, but they aren't. Instead they have restrictions against them for the way God made them . They can not fufill the sacarement of marriage in the Catholic Church, and they are not free to expirence their sexuality. There are limitations put against them for the way they were created, and this simply isnt fair.

We would probably disagree on several points, but I agree that compassion is needed. Marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman, the Church cannot change this, but must simply state the truth. Suggesting this isn't "fair" implies that marriage is a "right," rather than a freedom.
God bless,
